Today is Valentine Day for the lovers. Although it should be quite nice a day, it's a bit bitter for me. I am sitting alone at my place, with no lover around. I got a phone call from some marriage-hunting organization, certainly not free. I have to say the caller is really quite good at talk, and i almost agreed to register a VIP at their site. But at last, i held the line. I am not saying that they are doing no good just for the money in my pocket, while i am still doubtful about this activity. Maybe some day, the circumstance is tough enough, i'll call them back.

The gossip is over, let's return back to the song 《Everything will flow》. It's a great song from Suede, a 1990's band from England. The 1990 decade of last century is the best time of Britpop, and suede is undoubtedly one of those greatest bands.

My interpretation of this song might be quite different from others. For the common thinking, the word 'flow' should be literally explained, it means everything will be gone, which is a bit pessimistic. But for my personal point, this song is encouraging. I think the singer was trying to tell us, the bad time will be gone, we should look forward confidently and bravely embrace the future. That is why i paste this song here, i hope it could help me away from the sadness.

This is a song from Elton John, who might be quite familiar to Chinese because of the film Lion King. In this film, John sings《Can you feel the love tonight》, which makes him impressed for people around the world. It's definitely a great song, but for me personally, I'd like to choose this one as the better.

Rhythm of this song is quite light, like a little stream not any fast. It's also quite clear, word by word, all about love. But this really touches my heart. I think rock is not a good style to be emotional, while this pop style is much better.

This is a song from Lionel Richie. In my personal opinion, he is a great singer though he is neither handsome nor good at broadcasting himself. But he gets his reason to be great, and this song is quite an example.

I first listened to this song is during my high school life. I just learned a bit English at that time, and English songs could aid our study efficiently at least in the teacher's point. So we borrowed or bought, I can't remember, a English white-golden disc. I can't say I love this song more than the others, in fact, it's not that fascinating for me, maybe I couldn't understand what it means at that time.

As time goes by, I am growing up gradually and turn to know some stuff. I gets to know what Richie tries to express by this song, and understand the real friendship doesn't come easy. This is a plain song with greatness in.
